As usual the Gears once again produce a wonderful and historical thought out book. While I've been dazzled in the past by their epic journey through Native American history Biblical archaeology is the Gears true Archaeological calling and this book is 30 years in the making. Not for everyone, The Betrayal offers another perspective to Jesus' death, one a bit more comprehensive. I was very pleased and also on the edge of my seat even though we all know how the story ends....or do we? It was hard to put this book down. If you like Da Vinci Code you will enjoy this!
