I hope these aren't the "Best" mysteries of 1998. There were at least four which greatly disappointed me for one reason or another.
If you read these, don't let the first two make you think the others are all like them. And there was at least two other stories I think the author didn't read for plot errors or have anyone else do that either. I had to re-scan one to see if there was something I missed in the plot. I believe that story was written in a hurry and no one else read it before it was published.
Others were enjoyable. but don't pay full price for for the book.
