This story introduces children to needs and wants but doesn't go far enough. Brother and Sister want everything in sight each time Mama and Papa go to the store and throw tantrums to get what they want. Mama and Papa reach a compromise with Brother and Sister to pick one thing when they go to the store. The problem I had is that the solution sets up the expectation that the cubs will get something at every visit to a store instead of teaching the cubs that you can't get everything you want.

This is a great lesson for kids...I read this one multiple times to my son, and we still use the phrase "galloping gimmies".
