I did not enjoy this third book in the series as much as I did the first two. This one had too much of Daphne's emotional baggage. Every time the spy stuff would start getting good the story would revert back to Daphne's sex life and her struggle between good and bad. There was a side story about her dog that really made no sense, unless it is something that will be followed up in the next book. Over all an okay read, but a dissapointment after the first two books.
I've really wanted to enjoy this series, but finally gave it up with this one. For a 400 year old vampire, the heroine is amazingly flat, one dimensional, tedious, and TSTL...come on, 400 years to grow a backbone and she won't even ask her mother basic questions about her father...ugh. I'm done, couldn't even finish this one.

If you passed daphne Urban on the streets of New York, you'd see a sleek young burnette dressed to kill. You'd never know she is a vampire. But the government knows.

I liked this book I just have a hard time getting into the vampire secret spy thing. Anyone who has read her work knows that she is a good writer.

After a recent breakup, Daphne must somehow take her mind off her personal life. So she's glad to throw herself into her work, joining her fellow antiterrorist agents to chase down a ruthless enemy-a professional who goes simply by "Gage". Mysterious, cruel and unstoppable, this assassin is dead set on killing a certain presidential candidate.....
