Another classic Redwall book. I liked the change of scenery here, and Blaggut, the searat, was quite an enjoyable character too. Definitely worth reading for fans of the series. Come hear more about the adventures of Mariel and her father, Joseph, Durry and Rufe, Dandin and Abbot Saxtus, and all your old friends.

7th in this wonderful series. Reads well whether you've read the first six or not. Really useful for reading out loud in class or family.
this was a great read full of adventure.
My son really enjoyed this book, he tried sneaking in on a car trip.. I said you can always take a book(I'm glad it wasn't the gameboy he was sneaking!)
Book about animals of Redwall. Two young mice leave the Abby and lead the fight against an army of evil rats. Good story, I liked it.
Excellent kids book, as are all Redwall books. Full of adventure, great lessons, and great-sounding food.
This one has 5 stars on Amazon - all the Redwall books are good, but this one has a bit more adventure.

Vicious Foxwolf, Urgan Nagru--a fox who long ago discovered the body of a wolf and skinned it to wear as his own--is holding the young Mariel and Dandin captive. The pair are at the mercy of the evil despot and have only one hope of survival. But can they really count on the legendary freedom fighter, Martin the Warrior, to come to their rescue?
The Bellmaker fairly boils over with passion, intrigue, and adventure. A true page-turner, the heat is immediately turned to high, and never cools until the close of the very last chapter. Brian Jacques's skill lies in creating fantastical yet believable characters, placing them in an extraordinary yet convincing setting and then letting loose with a flood of imagination that takes the breath away. One of the best writers of our time, Jacques comes through once again for his readers in this remarkable tale of good triumphing over evil.

The Redwall series is a lot of fun to read. The characters are interesting and each book has a different focus. Thumbs up!
Book 7 in the Redwall series, a favorite of children.
