This book is incredible. I'd read it again if I didn't already remember it vividly after 4 years.

Was a good book. I read it years ago and remember that it had a lot of sex in it. Sex and revenge and a women's will to survive after being force to do things against her will. I would compare it to Beatrice Small's Skye O'Malley in the amount of sex.

Awful, awful book. Interesting concept, more poorly executed than I can say. I couldn't even finish it, I'd just had enough. I don't need to hear fifty thousand times how beautiful she is. If she's really that beautiful, once should suffice. If she's really that intriguing, once should suffice. The way Moline has to keep going on and on about it, it becomes apparent this story is not intriguing, or interesting, nor is Moline a good writer. Something should've tipped me off here, the drawing of Belladonna on the cover bears a very close resemblance to Ms. Moline herself. If you want to read a story about a fantasy world a woman has created for herself, where she is the most beautiful and desirable thing in the country, read Ms. Moline's self indulgent tripe.

Really enjoyed this book! Strong, defined, brutal at times, and spanning a lifetime, this book has it all, no one has their feeling spared here. Not a sappy type romance, that's for sure. Good 'lose yourself in' type of lengthy read.

Who is Belladonna? The year is 1935 and shw is Isabella Ariel Nickerson, an innocent Midwestern girl visiting London for the first time. But she is soon to be torn from the world she knows. Abducted by a cabal of wealthy aristocrats, she will become the sacrificial lamb in a ritual of domination and submission that will rob her of her freedom, her dignity, and her identity. Slowly, the girl known as Isabella disappears and in her place a new woman is born. Masked and bejeweled, the mysterious toast of New York high society, she now calls herself Belladonna. And she lives for one purpose only...revenge.
