Every night right before the sun sets, an unseen bell rings throughout the village of Sealey Head. Although most people ignore it, the younger residents all want to know its mystery.

Believing the stories some say of the bell ringing from the faerie realm at the sight of a tragic shipwreck, a young man named Ridley Dow, who recently moved into town, decides to look into the mystery. Along the way, he meets Judd Cauley, son of an aging lighthouse keeper; Judd's girlfriend, Gwyneth Blair; and the heir to the Aislinn House, Miranda Beryl.

As Lady Eglantyne, the ancient matron of the house, lays dying, the four decide to unravel the mystery of the bell and the house that has a habit of creating enchanted rooms filled with things of its past. As they uncover the truth, however, they realize the two (the bell and the house) are linked - and the end result will be disastrous for the village of Sealey Head.

Can the four friends find a way to save their town, or will life as they know it be destroyed?
