Jane attends a book convention to drum up interest in her own manuscript. When an editor is poisoned and a ournalist is bashed in theparking lot, Jane starts to snoop her way to a solution.
I feel like Jane and her friend Shelley are part of my community. I like to follow their activites like old friends.

Another good read about the antics of Jane Jeffry and her sidekick Shelley Nowack.
Jane and Shelley attend a nearby mystery writers' convention to mingle with agents, publishing bigwigs, and famous authors...and maybe todrum up interest in her own recently completed manuscript.

A typical Jane Jeffery story with a bit of twist. She's in the middle of a murder rather than just poking her nose into one of Nel's cases.
I guess I'm in the minority here. I couldn't get into the story at all because it was so poorly written. I thought maybe it would get better if I kept reading, but I gave up after several chapters.
Churchill's books are always a fun read. This is no exception.
Jane Jeffry and her best pal Shelly Nowack take in a mystery writers'
convention.
