the heroine has two brothers fighting over her... one was just a friend who had sold her (an antique dealer) some jewelry, the other brother just so happens to meet her and ends up with the jewelry somehow, and then they both propose marraige.... this was only written in the heroine's point of view so it made this all seem a bit more mysterious than it actually was in the end... but it was still a good read because i kept trying to figure out what the angle was and what was the hero up to anyway????
