Great Vampire book for tweens. There's action and suspense, but none of the "PG" or "R" stuff that makes its way into so many of the Vampire series these days. Quick, easy read.

Not the best book. Some of the things that Raven did wanted to make me roll my eyes. I think things went too fast with Raven and Alexander and the author didn't really get more into their relationship. I did like the idea that the author had for the story, but not the way she wrote it. Would only recommend this book to preteens and maybe young teens who don't like to read.

Not the best of this genre by any means, but it gets better with each book. The cliche's get old after awhile, and the writing style is amateur but the characters of Jagger and Luna do make things interesting.

Very Tame Tween Romance Book. It does make a good read if you don't have anything better laying around. It's very "G" rated and if you're and adult reading this it can get a little boring at times. Not to much action and the story line isn't very exciting. There are a few times while reading that I thought must have definitely been stolen right out of Twilight. Like the "vegetarian vampire" part. I felt like the author didn't even try and put her own twist on Vampires but instead used every Vampire Cliche around. I did give it 3 stars but only because I really do think it's a great book for young tween readers who are into the whole human/vampire love stories that are so popular right now.
The book was decent but its written for younger teens. The gothic element added a small twist to it but i was slightly dissapointed with all of the cliche vampire references.
I am a huge Twilight fan and found this series very enjoyable. Yes, there were many similarities between Vampire Kisses and Twilight, but they written in 2 different styles and have different twists and turns that will keep fan reading. I really enjoyed that the first 3 books were together in "The Beginning"- the books are all short (300 or less). I was looking for something good to read and this was recommended to me- now I recommend it to you vampire genre fans!

his was a great teen read (YA). I loved the story line and the innocence of Raven's "trials and tribulations." The notion that she has always been the outcast and different has made her feel alone until she meets Alexander and finds that he feels just as outcast and alone from the vampire world. The story evolves into their believing they could exist happily together because they are so different in their separate worlds that they simply belong together. Little did they know they would have to save Dullsville from other teen vampires who want to cause trouble. This is books 1-3 and I cannot wait to continue the adventure of Raven and Alexander in books 4-7. Ah, teenage love! Isn't it grand?!
