Another story in The Hangman's Daughter series with many of the same characters and much violence. I do find this series entertaining from the standpoint that the action never stops but his use of modern terminology does not fit with the time period and that distracts me. I also thought that the plot and its outcome were rather predictable in this story but since I enjoy the characters and the setting, I will continue with the series. I'm giving this one 3 stars.
