This is not the genre I read AT ALL!
For the readers of the romance genre I'm sure this will be given all 5* ratings and I can agree with that, but I don't read this genre so for me this book is a waste of time
Once you get the gist of the story you can skip pages and pages and not miss anything, I skip all the romance parts and get on with the main story, not what I'd call a thriller but just a mystery and I had it figured out quick, so all I needed were a couple of details and I got that in the last chapter of the book--enough for me
Sorry to spoil romance readers and no offense to the genre you like, but these books are shallow for me

Dawn is the only survivor of a serial killer called "The Iceman." Her boyfriend at the time was Tucker who was Jason's (the Iceman) brother. Tucker rescues Dawn, but understandably things happen and each goes their separate ways.
Fast forward 10 years and Dawn has rebuilt her life and is a successful PI. But someone is killing again and is mimicking The Iceman. Tucker retired from the military and is part of the FBI's new profiling unit. Take a wild guess who gets sent to New Orleans?
I thought this was good and suspense with a nice twist. I think Dawn was smart, capable and that was refreshing. There was closure at the very end as well.
