This is chick-lit chum with a capital C. You can read it in one day--by the pool, on a plane, or in the bathroom when you're not feeling well. Just like The Devil Wears Prada, except the author in real life worked for a nortorious book publisher (initial JR) and not a magazine editor. It was a good, realistic look inside the world of book publishing--the long hours, heavy editorial work, and horrible bosses & coworkers. However it was very VERY predictable. It rushed its way through a lot of things, and the relationship with the boyfriend was stupid. He was really dull w/all the unoriginal stereotypical qualities of the rich boyfriend character--one who is perfect on the outside but has nothing in the head or the heart (or the pants). I cannot 100% slam it, since it WAS fun, and it's OK to get it through something like PBS. But if you're not plus w/credits, put it at the back of the line.

More of a story like "The Devil Wears Prada" than a straight romance. The romance is the side story. Enjoyed the book on the beach. Easy read.

This is a good book and I enjoyed it very much. Normally I do not read books like this, so I can't really compare it to other authors in the same genre'.

There was some strong language, which I usually try to avoid. The language was primarily from one character and not present in all the dialog. There were no sex scenes and while there was some romance, it was not stupid, silly, or overly mushy.

Along the lines of the Devil Wears Prada, only in the book publishing industry. Comical. Easy, enjoyable read.

I really liked this book. Easy read, typical chick-lit. I almost liked this book better than "The Devil Wears Prada".

I couldn't put this book down! It was funny and cleverly written. I hated when it ended.
