I have one word for this book..AMAZING. In some parts it was like watching a train wreck. I just couldnt put it down. I know there are several bad reviews for this book but I think it is awesome. The characters are so well written and you feel like you are eavesdropping on their life. And girls, you have to admit, everyone has fallen in love with a bad boy at some point. That is what makes this book so appealing.
Abby is one of the main characters in this book. She is the good girl running from a bad home to start life anew at a far away college. Travis is the all-american bad boy. He can have any girl he wants except for Abby; who seems resistant to his charms. When she looses a bet to him, just how far will he go to keep her.

Reading this book will sometimes make your head spin. It is full on all the time. There is so much information packed into it. Sometimes Travis doesnt always make the best decisions and saying he has a temper is quite an understatement. You have to admit though he does love her and love makes us do crazy things. Please read this, you wont be sorry.

Ok, here's the thing. I know that I am a grown woman and I should be disgusted by this hero. I mean, he is obsessed with the girl, he beats up anyone who looks at her, he is slightly on the stalker side, he has a temper, he is frequently drunk. Even with all these flaws, I couldn't help but love the book. I'm I little ashamed to admit it, but I couldn't put the book down. Now in real life, if I had a friend who was dating someone like Travis, I would tell them to run away as fast as their feet could carry them. But for a fictional read, this book was truely addictive.

I loved this book! It is in the new adult category. I wouldn't say that it is YA because there is some sex. She doesn't go into gory detail so it is not so bad but definitely not for readers under 18. I loved it so much that I have the ebook and the paperback!

This was a good book! On goodreads a read some reveiws that shouldnt of been wrote about book. First they said they didnt finish book only got to chapter nine, so if they would of read the whole book it wouldnt of got bad reveiws. Yes travis was possesive but he was so insecure and was afraid to get close to anyone for fear of loosing them like he did his mother. yes he went over the top at times, but it was obvious he loved pigeon Abby dearly!

Great book. I couldn't put it down and even now that I'm finished I can't stop thinking about it. I agree it's probably not YA. (lots of sex & violence) I loved the other reviewer on here who said reading this book was like watching a train wreck. I totally agree. Yes, some of the characters' behavior is totally messed up & Abby & Travis' relationship is dysfunctional but it's a book and it's sexy. It was entertaining the whole way through, a bit of an emotional roller coaster but the ending was great. Sure it's not very realistic but it's a great piece of fiction! I don't always want what I read to be true to real life.

I LOVED this book! I don't know why it's getting so many bad reviews. I honestly couldn't put it down. Secretly, in my head, as I'm reading this, I'm so upset that Travis isn't a real person. I found myself when I wasn't reading, thinking about what else is gonna happen?

You will definitely find yourself wishing it was real life, and you were Abby.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!

I think I understand the bad reviews of this book. I was frustrated that the characters were tornados and exploded frequently. But that was the whole point and thus, the name of the book.

I'm not sure why I didn't want to like the book but I ended up really enjoying it. Well written characters and enough emotion to keep me reading.

I cant believe how some people have slammed on this book on Goodreads. I loved it. It is not a book of substance but it is addictive and I loved the drama. It is a book that entertains. It is not a manual on how to live ones life. Travis has issues. I think the worst issue is that he pummels males that make him angry/jealous/whatever. Other than that he is supremely insecure in his relationship with Abby. So? Thats his deal. Let him trash his material belongings. He never intentionally hurts Abby. I was surprised to find this book classified as young adult. Perhaps if it were an adult novel then the controversy would subside. Anyway, if I could of I would have read it one sitting. I look forward to reading Travis side in Walking Disaster.

I absolutely LOVED this book! Sure, Travis is a bad boy, but he has a good heart and really loves Abby. This is the first book I have read by this author, but will not be the last. The sequel to this book, Walking Disaster, comes out soon. It is from Travis' view point and I can hardly wait!

This book is a definite disaster. The writing is elementary. The plot line is non-existent. I have read numerous YA books and this can't even qualify for that category.

Very fast paced and intense read albeit a bit non realistic in many ways for college age characters in the book. A good recreational relaxing read and page turner for a summertime day.

Definitely Recommend!

Abby goes away to college with her best friend, hoping to escape from her past. There she meets a guy who is everything she is trying to run away from. He is exactly the kind of trouble she doesn't need right now....or is he exactly what she needs? They develop a friendship and the love and passion that develops between them surprises them both.

I liked this book. It was your typical YA novel. Easy, light read and predictable. I'm a sucker for these kinds of books though so i enjoyed it. If you're a fan of books like Twilight or the Fifty Shades series, then you would like this book. I liked the characters of Abby and Travis, but at times I did have to roll my eyes at their overreactions. It was a little dramatic in some parts. That being said, I tried to keep in mind that it was a book about teens, so their volatile emotions do make sense.

I was unsure if this was a "youth" book or not. Either way, I did enjoy it, even though I'm not a "youth". :-) The characters are good, well developed, and certainly worth reading about. The plot might be a little more interesting to late high school or early college students. Anyone who loves romance will like this book.

I loved this and read it in one sitting! Yeah it had some issues, like Travis's controlling ways and the whole Vegas part could've been left out but I couldn't put it down. I loved the characters and I'm still thinking about Travis Maddox. Holy cow,can I get some of that?! Looking forward to reading Walking Disaster.

although many loved this book and it is an easy read, I found that it liked the suspense that I look for in reading.

Although it doesn't indicate that this is a young adult level of reading I would consider to be that level--I think?

I tried and tried to get into this book but it just seemed so juvenile and silly - a couple of college students behaving like they are in their early teens and have a crush on someone trying to hide it and being jealous, etc.

I tried skimming then skipping to find a place where something is actually happening and even after page 200 it doesn't go anywhere -- unless I'm missing something this is a dud!
