Arizona is one tough nut to crack.

2nd book in the Beautiful Dead series, Daria must help Arizona figure out if she really drowned in Hartmann Lake. However, Arizona is keeping many many secrets, including her brother and secret lover. Although a bit predictable, I was dissapointed they used the same time travel method to reveal the killer in the end. I mean... why go through all the trouble sleuthing if you can just travel back in time?? haha....

This second installment flowed much better than the first. However, it wouldnt be ideal to read them out of order, and the books simply cannot stand alone. Darina is still snarky as ever, but her character is finally growing one me.

A quick easy read especially if you loved the first book Jonas. If you did not read the first book you will need to in order to understand just what is going on in this one. Though a bit predictable as I remembered the author's writing style so I was able to pick up the killer quickly, it was still interesting how it all played out and came to an end. A fast paced quick read. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, Summer.
