A good, page turning read that I might have been more invested in if I had started at the beginning of the series. This is the only book I've read in the series. The main characters are likable and there's a good level of action. You get to see secondary characters that were probably leads in other earlier books in the series. The ending felt a little abrupt with no detailed explanation about the bad guy, which might have been frustrating if I'd been reading about him for 9 books!
