Enjoyed this book. Set in mid 1800's in New Orleans.
To keep the Louisiana plantation he loved, Dominic Kane had six months to honor his father's will and marry. When he saw the beautiful bondservant fresh from the high seas, his decision was made. He offered temporarily make her his wife in name only. But after impulsively kissing her lush lips, a raw passion surfaced, and Nick realized his rougish life had not been complete before the entrance of this green-eyed enchantress.

Bobbi Smith has done a great job for this book. Dominic Kane has to find himself a bride in order to get his father inheritance. He wants the bride to be easy to handle, without any feelings in the marriage. Therefore, he finds Jordan St. James, a noble lady who runs away from England and sell herself as a slave, perfect for the job. He demands her to act like a falling-in-love bride only where his father around. But love is there between them, so as you all can guess, everything ends happily....

This book was a little confusing at first, but then it totlly captured my interest. Couldn't put it down.
