Barbara Bloom is an American writer and TV programming executive. She earned a bachelor of science degree in theater from Skidmore College. Her current position is Senior Vice President, Daytime, CBS Entertainment. She has held that position since 2003 after replacing Lucy Johnson, and her boss is Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment, whose boss is Nancy Tellem.

Bloom is in charge of CBS Daytime and its children's programming. She joined ABC Daytime in 1992 and was Vice President, Director, Daytime Programming, West Coast from 1994-2000 where she worked closely with Mary Burch and Rebecca Lane.
