I absolutely loved this book. If you are looking for a beautiful love story between 80 year olds who are reconnected after many years and find they still love each other, then this is the book for you. One of them pursues the other until they give in and come to visit the small town of Spur, Texas. This is a hand holding , sweet kissing book and your heart will warm to every page as these two become closer by finding old places they loved to learn in , worship in, and walk through. This is a true story and Aaron Latham is the son of the male oldster.

This book is a rare find. Never before have I come across a tale of pure romance between two people in their 80s. It has all the desire, family opposition, humor, and surprising twists of the best love stories. Add to that the wisdom of two lives well lived and the bravery to recognize and treasure a second chance for love. Best of all it is TRUE! I am grateful to the author who, by recording his father's story, gave reader's permission to savor life's joys at any age.
