Bad Kitty is annoyed with seeing feral cats raiding the neighborhood trash cans, so narrator challenges Bad Kitty to run for Neighborhood President to influence change especially since the current president has grown very old indeed and is not going to run again. So narrator takes Bad Kitty through the election process, which Bad Kitty attempts with a lot of humor. This book was an excellent illustration of the election process from nominations, to running, to ads, to voting. My 2nd grader still had trouble with the terms, but that is unavoidable. Great book

Hilarious pictures and text. My students (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) ALL love this series and it is so much fun to read aloud.

My grandmother bought this book for me. I liked the funny parts with the other kitties in the neighborhood. I also learned about elections. Other kids will like this book too.
