The writing style in the beginning was very much like Bridget Jones' Diary and I was really getting into it. However, like the other reviewer, it did become a disappointment around the middle. At least it perked back up somewhat at the end.

Well, despite having looked forward to reading this, I was disappointed. Anna was just too dumb for words and Cassandra just too distasteful. Zak needed discipline worse than any child I've run across in fiction-land recently, and seeing him not get it was frustrating. I finished it, but can't rate it very high at all.

I enjoy British writers and was intrigued to read this book at first but was somewhat disappointed in that it becomes somewhat soap-operish half way through. Still, though, an enjoyable read a la Bridget Jones\' Diary.

A modern day, chiclit version of Mary Poppins. It's OK.

Ho-hum. Sweet, ambitious, but slightly plump British bird falls in among The Sophisticated Set, who are Terribly Mean to her (think "The Devil Wears Prada")until she meets Mr. Right. (In this case, Lord Right, but she's too dense to recognize that's what he is.). Been there, read that, see no need to read it again.
