If you are thinking about reading this book, then you have probably already read book 1 -3, which is necessary. So if you read this far into the series why stop now? It is only 260 pages. I wish I could say it was a page turner but it wasnt. I was able to put the book down many times and come back later.

So what is new in book 4. Stella goes to Wisconsin, and of course the book jacket reveals that she finds her nephew disposing of a dead man. Why Wisconsin? Why leave Missouri? I think maybe just a change of venue made this book easier to write. Think about it, if there is another crime in Missouri then sheriff Goat would have to be involved again and have to look the other way.

So in Wisconsin Stella can get involved in another tangled web, that only she can sort out in her special way. Plus no law enforcement involved. In fact the local Wisconsin law enforcers are not even involved, cause the murder doesnt get reported, as of yet.

All the regulars are back, Todd the teenage neighbor, Christy her assistant, and Goat and another love interest BJ.
Stella still hasnt gotten lucky in the deep loving area yet, that is getting so old.

I was bored as she drove up to Wisconsin, It picked up after the first 2 twists, This writer has the twists down to a formula. Then dang it just gets all wound up, and not too neatly I might add. So what a way to just end a book. Or not.

I will read book 5 cause Christy's new love interest might really make the next book interesting. Who is it? I am not telling you have to go read book 4 to find out.
