This is the very best of the first two years of Backwoods Home Magazine. This magazine publishes 'how-to' on most everything anybody would want to know how to do. Cooking, cleaning, building, farm animals, business ideas to incorporate in your farm, you name it, if folks need to know how to - Backwoods Home is the place they turn.
Most of the articles are not only a how to, they are usually a story showing the process of why "such and such" is the best way to do something. They also (usually) are they cheapest, yet long lasting way to go. This is always helpful when trying to start in any adventure! At the end of most of the articles the authors also tell what they would of done differently, which is great so you don't make the same mistakes.
This magazine is still in print and this is just the first of many Best of's. Alot of their articles are archived on their website, so some of these I had already read. But I'm VERY happy that now I have them to thumb through at any time.
