I listened to this in one day while working at my computer. I found my attention kept straying away, but that that didn't keep me from falling the story. Fairly simplistic and formulaic stuff - fluffy but enjoyable, if you're not looking for a complex story. It reminded me a lot of "The Rocky Road to Romance" by Evanovich. Very driven woman with a full schedule and no money meets a rich man who falls head over heels for her, even though she says she doesn't have time for a relationship.

The one thing I don't like about any of Evanovich's books on audio is that I find the reader's voice (C. J. Critt) to be incredibly grating.

This book started out similar to Manhunt and so I was not sure that I wanted to listen to it. I am glad that I did. A very cute story

Kathryn Finn lives her life in the fast lane rushing everywhere. This hare meets the tortoise when something comes crashing through Katherines roof and lands on her bed. David Dodd is just a kid at heart, enjoying life. Two more ill-matched people could not be imagined.

David has noticed his neighbor rushing past his window on many occasions. However, the day the camera pod crashed through Katherines ceiling was the first time they met. He decides hes going to marry Kathryn; she decides David is not good marriage material because he constantly seemed to play.

This is the first Elsie Hawkins book. One can already see Grandma Mauzer emerging; a saucy older person eager to shoot anyone who looks wrong.

I guess Evanovich is laughing all the way to the bank; but I would have died if someone had revived this book and reprinted it (if I were its author). In a word, it is awful. Even CJ Critt (reader) couldn't save it. 1 star

This was a fun easy to listen to/ read book. Lots of laugh, a little tension and a whole lot of interesting situations that happen to the couple as they start their relationship.
Light hearted and a good read.
