Four early novellas: Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man. After Columbine, Rage and The Bachman Books were allowed to go out of print, but the other three are still available as separate paperbacks.

Read this book a long time ago, right after Schwartzneger made "The Running Man". The story is only vaguely like the movie. The story I really liked and remember the most was "The Long Walk". I'm not a big horror fan, but I enjoyed this book.

This version includes the controversial novella "Rage." In later editions, "Thinner" replaces this novella in the collection.

This book was written by Stephen King when he was using the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. Between 1977 and 1984. These stories are some of his earliest work. Anyone who enjoys a good Stephen King book is sure to love this. 3 stories in 1 book. Book is a paper back in good condition (crease on front cover). Not from a smoke free enviroment however books are kept in a closet on shelves they do not smell of smoke according to a non-smoker that I have asked.
