Four early novellas: Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man. After Columbine, Rage and The Bachman Books were allowed to go out of print, but the other three are still available as separate paperbacks.

Read this book a long time ago, right after Schwartzneger made "The Running Man". The story is only vaguely like the movie. The story I really liked and remember the most was "The Long Walk". I'm not a big horror fan, but I enjoyed this book.

This version includes the controversial novella "Rage." In later editions, "Thinner" replaces this novella in the collection.
