This book is authored by Kate Chopin and edited by Sandra Gilbert. If you are unfamiliar with Ms. Chopin's work, please take a moment and visit: http://www.vcu.edu/engweb/webtexts/hour/ which contains the complete copy of Chopin's "The Story of an Hour." It is a quite well-known and very short story and it should assist you in determining your interest in her work. Ms. Chopin is known mostly for "The Awakening" as well as "The Story of an Hour." I find her work to be as profound and emotionally surprising as Virginia Woolf. I hope you will enjoy her art.
