I'm a huge fan of Sheri Tepper ... pretty much think anything she writes is brilliant. As such, I freely admit that I am biased. Having said that, this wasn't my favorite Tepper novel. I did enjoy it, but I wasn't devouring it like I do with some of her other books. I think my problem was that there were too many characters, so I couldn't really relate to any one of them on a deeper level. As such, I wasn't as engaged in what would happen to them. Still, it made for a nice read, and I'd recommend it to any Tepper fan!
