This is one of the most moving and eloquent collections of poetry I have ever read. Marge Piercy has been one of my favorite poems for years, and this is one of her best collections........likely to be particularly meaningful to those of growing up in the 60s. However anyone who appreciates moving poetry, with the lyricism of music and an eloquence of language is likely to delight in this collection. I am only letting it go after copying over 15 of my favorite poems from it until the poetry notebook I carry now in my purse! Highly recommended.
