Just as cuddly cute as all the rest of the series. A fun, light-hearted mystery series with a quirky paranormal twist.

Up until now, I have enjoyed all the Aunt Dimity mysteries. However, this one seems to drag, there was not suspense build up and the plot lacked cohesiveness. I will move on to the next one and hope that she comes back to the character with more enthusiasm.

A good afternoon read. Good plot and characters. A good series.

The family in this series is stinking wealthy! They try to keep themselves centered or down to earth by doing charity work and such. However, you can't get past the money making their lives easy and not something normal people can identify with. Each book finds a different exotic setting for the story, while being home based in England.
The series is said to be paranormal, and is not based in reality at all. Entertainment rarely is, however, the paranormal portion of these stories is limited and does not over power the stories.
The book does present a very un-biblical view of the afterlife. Each one will have to decide if this is something they want to read or not.
Otherwise it is an entertaining and quick read. There is a recipe in the back of each book, with the exception of 2 that I have found. Kind of a nice bonus.

I always love Aunt Dimity and the messes Lori get into and out of.
the ultimate cozy series, complete with pink bunny. Warm-hearted. Esp. recommended for readers of "cozy" mystery and folks who love England.
Another great tale of Aunt Dimity's influence in the present day world. Involves an archaeologist, a village feud, our friends Emma and Derek, a couple of new characters (including a new stuffed animal!). A fun read. Marian
The Aunt Dimity series is a fun read.
If you like Aunt Dimity books you need to read this one. It is really good

Another fun story. The English town of Finch, where Lori and Bill have their cottage that Lori inherited from Aunt Dimity, is in an uproar over a visiting archaeologist. There's a town festival planned and Lori is an obsessed mother until she gets help from Francesca, a new and interesting character.

Another fun book. They are written so well that you get lost in them and before you know it the end is there and it is time to start another one. I really hate to think of what will happen when I am done with them. Hope she keeps right on writing more!!!
I love this series. Probably the best cozy mystery series I have ever read.
I enjoy the Aunt Dimity books. It's nice to have a mystery that isn't a murder mystery. I admit, I found the ending a bit off on this one--an awful long speech to Peggy and it seemed folks flip-flopped a bit much. The ending of the harvest festival was nice, though, as was what was going on with Culver. Fun read.
This was another delightful story with Aunt Dimity. While I would like to read them in order, they don't seem to rely heavily on previous story lines like a continuous or serial set.
I enjoy Aunt Dimity as a light, but intriguing mystery series and this one has a different twist.
If you want psychological or serious thrillers, this one isn't for you, but if you like a "Miss Marple" or other Agatha Christie type story - this is one for you!

If you enjoy cozy mysteries, this is the best series I've found. You can't put the book down, and yet you don't want to get to the end unless you have the next book waiting.
I hope Nancy Atherton enjoys writing these stories as much as her fans love reading them!

A fun cozy mystery. Aunt Dimity is always a good read.
I realy like this series of books, glad I found it here. The action just keeps on coming...I have trouble putting it down to go to bed at night or to work in the afternoon.
I love this series, and will certainly continue with it. Nice, light bedtime reading.
I started reading these books because of the wish list. I had some free books coming to me, so I checked the list for ideas of what to order. Aunt Dimity and the next of kin was on the list, so I ordered it. I'm glad I did. I've now got the whole series. They're a nice, pleasant read.
Lori meets a handsome man while under assignment to evaluate a book collection. She falls under a spell - for him or is it something more sinister? A good read for Dimity fans.
