A fast paced thriller featuring a woman pressured into becoming an assassin. There are twists in the plot, but they are for the most part telegraphed well ahead of time. It's a good romantic suspense book, and if you like Linda Howard or Kay Hooper, then you'll probably like this one. First in a series.

Selena spent her first twelve years as an abused child on the mean streets of Jamaica until a wealthy American drug lord, rescued her and raised her to take over his business. A good guy (cop) v. bad guy (assassin) type book. Nothing surprising but also has an interesting love angle as well as the typical crime drama.
