Highly recommend this for 7th-9th grade or lower reading level. Writing is accessible and the read moves quickly. A solid, alternative view of what it meant to be Muslim in this country in the post 9/11 environment. Author reminds the reader that 9/11 happened to everyone and every child wants to feel safe, to have her family and to be accepted.
