To pray continually throughout the day, offering up flash prayers for self, others or situations and to give thanks
To share life in small group
To make retreat personally two hours monthly. (This means two hours alone with God for inventory, confession, intercession, thanksgiving, future plans, rereading of marriage vows, ordination vows, etc.)
To express my Christian vocation in specific social action (such as: care for or service to the needy, sick, orphans, shut-ins, handicapped; community betterment, or political, interracial or intercultural programs, etc.)
To tithe consistently
To offer grace at each meal. (This should be done quietly and without ostentation in public, we decided.)
To share worship daily with my household, weekly in church
To life frugally, practicing simplicity in my spending, eating, keeping fit, sleeping enough, using my surplus for others. (We decided that living frugally would be defined to mean the judicious use of all of our resources, including time, talents, money and health)
To grow intellectually as a Christian reading a solid book at least monthly.« less
