I really wanted to love this book, but I couldn't. I don't hate it. It just didn't grab me. Good book to pass the time, maybe during a rainy weekend, but not something I would recommend to a friend as a great book.

This one was just okay for me. I felt this book had great characters and potential for a great story. It just seemed sort of underdeveloped. I felt like it was missing something. The main character had several issues but I would have like to see her work through them to a better end than the story actually did.

Ginger, uptight cooking student in NYC, falls in love with fellow student. She thinks she has no clue how to be seductive, since she's always been in the shadow of her beautiful and flamboyant ex-stripper mother, Coco. Mom teaches stripping classes & sells sex aids now - and Ginger doubles as her assistant while regular aide is on vacation. I liked this book, but it's no Katie MacAlister or anything. Funny in places & gets lots better toward the end when she has a little more interaction with her little sister (by her completely oblivious father's second marriage).

Could not get into this book at all. Couldn't finish the first chapter. I didn't like her writing style.
