Wow. What do you get when you cross an engineer, a mathemetician, and an artist? Throw in some fabric and you've got Ruth McDowell, who is one of my very favorite quilt artists. Where else will you find Penrose tile quilts? Fractal quilts? All interpretted with flowers, trees, and other elements from nature.
