Interesting and poignant view of part of the Holocaust not notmally thought of.

Amazing stories.The sadness I felt when reading about some of the children being treated unkindly by the families taking them in. It was heartwarming though to read about this rescue effort but sad at the same time. Great book very hard to put down.
