I FELT THAT THIS BOOK WAS MORE A CHRONOLIOGICAL LISTING OF PLACES ARETHA HAD BEEN, PERFORMACES THAT SHE ENCOUNTERED, AND PEOPLE THAT SHE PERFORMED WITH. I WAS LOOKING FOR A MORE SOCIAL ASPECT TO THE BOOK.
