This is a strange book--a quick read, basically a modern setting for the Bible's story of the Virgin Mary. She is 14, and is pregnant without having had intercourse; she develops a following and performs healings. Quite an interesting retelling of the tale...by its end, the reader is left wondering if it is divinity or madness...
An interesting book about a teenager who "finds herself in the center of a storm of fervent belief and doubt" (<--from the back of the book). Told from multiple points of view, with a fairly solid plot. I enjoyed this book.
A town believes that a young girl is the Virgin Mary because a homeless man thinks he sees her hovering above him. Very touching!
I really enjoyed this book, I didnt want to put it down.
Very strange but wonderful book. Lots of twists and turns and very well written.

Great book! You'll love this one. A well told story from a lot of different points of view but you don't get lost!
very enjoyable read-
The story of a girl who becomes divine and then utterly helplessly human all within a year. It's a tale of possibilities and deception; selfishness and redemption.
Really wonderfully done.
Really wonderfully done.
Interesting book. Makes you suspend you assumptions while the plot developes.
Great story. Heartwarming and thought-provoking.
This book had some great twists and turns! An unexpected death, a cult-like following, and an enormous revelation about ones self. I did like the personality the author out into the characters, if some were a bit stereotypical. It was a fun, fast read, and I would maybe read it again, on a specifically rainy day. I would recommend.
This was an ok read - not totally engrossing, but not boring enough to leave unfinished.
Great book that really makes you think. I loved that they had 4 different readers when doing this audiobook.
I enjoyed this book very much. I listened to the audio version and it was really well done. Highly recommend.
