This amazing book not just for children is how the navajos still live today. I live close to some Navajo reservations and no one still believes that Navajos still live in dirt hogan's, but they do. They sleep on the ground inside with maybe a blanket or rug over them and a blanket over them. Many of the children are fed Breakfast, lunch and a late afternoon snack at school.

This Story is about Annie and her grandma. Grandma teaches Annie that death is part of the life cycle. It is a true story for all of us.
