Everyone should read this story at 13 and again in mid-life. It reminds us that love , truth and courage live forever in the life of one girl. Anne has the innoncence and wisdom of an ancient sage, yet shows her temper and moodiness like most pre-teens. Two families must hide from certain death in a small attic dependent upon a friend to secretly bring food. Through her diary Anne shows the world what innocence and courage look like. She writes of the same wishes and problems of most teenage girls. Yet the incredible danger and privations make her courage ring out louder that the evil that surrounds her. Once you meet Anne, you will never forget her.
