Wonderfully heartfelt story. Amazing viewpoint that lets us see what the Jews who went into hiding and those who were brave enough to shelter them had to endure.
Every young girl should read The Diary of a Young Girl, Anne Frank.
The heart rending story of a teenage jewish girl secretly hidden by civilians during WW II.
I was blown away by this book, having read it for the first time when I was almost 40. I felt that it should be required reading for all early teens so they could see just what thoughts, feelings, and writing they are capable of even when they are so young, relatively speaking. This book is one that has made a lasting impression on me.
Her life ened tragically in the concentration camp of Bergen-Belsen in March, 1945. Three months later, she would have been sixteen. Two months later, Holland was liberated by the Allies.GOOD BOOK
