Like this other book by this author (The Wondrous World of Ancient Egypt), the artwork is sublime. However, the rhyming verse in this book is much better and covers Greece's claims to fame. Mindful of his target audience (4 to 8 years), the text lightly covers the important aspects of the Greeks without spending too much time on any one of them. Adults and children will be impressed with this book.
