The book can satify all readers, those wanting just basic information, as well as those that read this book and it entices them to want to read more indepth about her life. This book is also good for pre-teens who find they are interested in history.

This is a selction of her written lessons, drawings, and family pictures left behind when the Romanovs were relocated and it allows readers a glimpse of the life enjoyed by the Czar's family. One should remevber the dreadful life of so many of Czar's subjects as they peruse this otherwise well-edited volume. Anna Anderson, the author of the autobiography "I Am Anastasia" (movie followed)is mentioned only briefly. I met Mr. Kerensky when I was a boy and although he said he had never met the young Grand Duchess herself, he felt the author to be deluded. And so DNA testing finally proved.
