This a beautiful , full color picture book with some descriptions of Amish life. Amish life is fascinating because these are truly God's people who live like our ancestors did over 100 years ago. This book is full of beautiful photographs depicting Amish life. They are a kind and friendly people to all people even strangers. MY brother worked with Amish in a tri-county clinic in Ohio and was able to use his German from college. This book will tell you all about the Amish mainly through photos. Most farm or have a trade, such as carpentry, but many are having to go into the mainstream to find work. Their homes and farms, Businesses and horse auctions are incredibly clean and organized and they have a strong work ethic. They are a fascinating section of Americana.
