This book is not only lovely to look at, but is a fascinating read. Full of beautiful photography and information about Elizabeth's family and lifestyle, this is more that just a cookbook, but a real glimpse into Amish life. I wanted the book because of the many delicious recipes, but instead found a lovely treasure to add to my shelf.

Great book! These recipes bring back a lot of memories. My family was not Amish, but I did grow up somewhat in Pennsylvania. There must have been some infleunce there. And even above and beyond is the story part. Love it.
