Juan Pablo (J, JuanPa) is the last of the group of 4 friends to get his story. J has been friends and, later, friends with benefits with Priscilla (Pris) since childhood. Their parents are all friends too and would like nothing more for J and Pris to get together for real. They are both in jobs they like; J is a Physical Therapist and Pris is a detective.
What is new, is Pris has been struggling with dealing with issues at work and working long hours. In her spare time she hosts classes about sex positivity. And she is good at it. There has always been a spark between them and they care for each other.
Enter a wedding (Milo's!) and some (brief) forced proximity and they reconnected. This time, they do make an effort to see if they could work in the real world. It takes a few false starts to get things going. For older, mature characters (they are mid-30s) I would have liked more communication up front. I thought Pris, at times, too quick to jump to defense.
Nice change of pace with Pris's career goals by the end of the book. I liked reading about the other characters and how happy they were in their current relationships.
