Not everyone is aware that Willie Nelson started his music career as a songwriter. However, Willie comes by his music genes honestly. When his parents divorced, the two children (Willie and Bobbie, his sister) went to live with their paternal grandparents, who were music teachers and gospel singers. Bobbie took to the piano while Willie learned guitar. Willie's first professional appearance was at the tender age of ten.

Probably Life Magazine said it best. Willie Nelson was "an instant success after twenty-five years of trying." This ebook tells the story of how Willie fought Nashville and won. Although I'd read Nelson's autobiography, It's a Long Story: My Life, this ebook offered different insights. It's a great read.
