Cute story about a girl named Amber Brown and her experience at school and at home. parents are getting divorced and delves into all of those tough topics in a great way. Amber lives with her mom and then dad moves back in the area, so she learns how to manage.
This book is also about losing yor best friend when they move away.
My 8 year old daughter read these in 1st grade as read alouds and then by herself this year.
If you like Junie B. Jones, this is like it, but older and deals with great issues to talk about with your child.
