The third installment of the Callahan Brothers saga focuses on Luke's twin brother Mark. In their hometown of Brazos Bend, Texas, Mark is known as "Devil" Callahan. He is an ex Intelligence officer with a lot of personal demons and even more secrets. It seems that Mark has a secret wife that he has kept from everyone, including his brothers. Annabelle was part of his top secret intelligence unit "the Fixers" for many years and his wife for quite a few of those. While their marriage is very untraditional it is full of sparks and chemistry. Always afraid of the big "L", he files for divorce before his loses his heart for good. Too bad for Mark because he soon finds out that he gave that away to her years ago.
When it becomes obvious that someone is killing off the old team that made up the 12 person "Fixers" unit, Mark and Annabelle are reunited and are forced to work together to stop the killer before they all bite the bullet. During their hunt Mark realizes that he not only loves Annabelle, but he can't live without her.
This book was so good that I had a hard time putting it down. Mark's story has it all. Laughs, romance and tears. The very last paragraph of the book opens up a world of possibilities for this saga to continue..... here's hoping Mrs. Dawson grants this readers wish with another Callahan book to come!!!

So this is the first time that I have ever really been compelled to review a book before I am even done reading it. I had this book on my reminder list for a while now and just happened to come across it at the library so I took a chance. I started this book late last night. I was hooked from page 1. It was adventurous,suspenseful,sexy and very comical. I woke up in the middle of the night to read and could not put it down but my eyes closed anyway. Guess I needed more sleep. I only have about 30 pages left and I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this series. Although I know I started with book three I don't feel like it has to be read in order. I can not wait to read the other brothers stories. Definitely don't think about this one. READ IT!! you will be very happy you did.
Geralyn Dawson is an awesome writer. This was the third book in the Callahan brothers series. I read all three and they are all books not to be missed. Exciting, great charactors. This was the first time I have read Ms. Dawson and I will definitely look for other books she has written. I give this 5 stars.
