This is only the second novel I've read by Mrs. Winters and it definitely was not my favorite. I found it to be a little dull. Considering all the mystery and suspense going on, I was expecting a bit more excitement. The chapters seemed to go on forever, I found myself skipping paragraphs, then skipping pages to get to something exciting. Unfortunately I didn't find the the characters all that exciting or memorable. Gave it a chance, but it just didn't work for me.
